No one owes

Maybe its just part of my imagination but we can never be too sure about people these days, can we?
I'm starting to get the withdrawal symptons of too much bonding, and too little.... exercising. Literally and not so literally.

Ever since the proclamation of womens' suffrage, ladies band together and proclaim the need to strengthen this sisterhood-it's never more important. So a couple of drinks, tinkling laughter, good dinner and viola! The latest click to hang out. Pardon me if I'm wrong. At the end of the show when the curtains are down, we're back to our daily lives, rush hours and stress served up in a dessert bowl. Shit ass bad but what the hell, no promises to begin with. So yea after all that jazz, you're still left alone with the same set of problems, the same set of struggles. The fix has worn out and you're you, in the "real" world.

Ok at least that's what I thought was good. All the metaphysical bonding does catches up and pulls a bunny here and there. Shock. Shock. Then what of it? No one owes me fun and drinks and food. No one owes me their company. No one owes me anything. So its high time I get my mind right and strike it out alone. It's not the shit that gets people down, its the disappointment they can't seem to reconcile.

So sweethearts out there, if you're looking for a fix, dial the number, everyone's looking for some social fix once in a while. Just remember at the end of the day, the truth remains and you can't hide. So honesty served up in a clay mug of lemon honey is still what we returns to for a hangover fix.
